New York Jets Boss and Lead Writer, Boy Green, gave his take on the running back depth chart heading into training camp.

With the quarterback position up in the air, the New York Jets will have to rely on their backfield for any offensive success.

FUN FACT: The Jets only have four players over the age of 30 on the roster and Matt Forte is one of them.

Will the Jets maximize Forte’s offensive ability? Well, they sure didn’t last year with Chan Gailey at the helm.

But there’s a new sheriff in town, John Morton, who appears to be leaning on the west coast system. A key cog in that machine is running backs who are versatile.

The Jets have three of those on the roster in Forte, Bilal Powell and new draftee Elijah McGuire.
