NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal decided to give the New York Knicks some trade advice with many rumors circulating just a day before the NBA draft.
At an American Express Teamed Up event in New York City on Tuesday, Shaquille O’Neal spoke his mind on what he believes the New York Knicks should do regarding their trade pieces.
“Keep Porzingis and trade everybody else around him,” O’Neal said. “Try to build around him. This kid’s got a great future.”
It means a lot coming from Shaq that he believes Kristaps Porzingis should be the piece that New York builds around and create the face of the franchise for years to come.
These rumors began coming into existence on Tuesday when Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported that Phil Jackson is not ruling out the idea of trading the Latvian-born star.
Nonetheless, Knicks fans certainly should not be upset if the club decides to officially make Porzingis their franchise player considering how has dominated the league since arriving.
