Bleacher Report’s Howard Beck calms every Knicks fan down by reporting that the Kristaps Porzingis trade discussions aren’t serious.

Earlier, it was reported that the tension between the New York Knicks and Kristaps Porzingis was worse than first thought.

Reports were reading that the Knicks were looking to trade Porzingis. Supposedly, teams were calling the Knicks to work out a deal for the “unicorn.” Teams such as the Boston Celtics were reportedly interested in him.

But let’s face it, the Knicks are not serious about trading Porzingis. I know Phil Jackson has done some crazy things since being in charge, but I don’t think he is this crazy.

When the reports were coming out and caused a bit of a panic with some fans, the threat of Porzingis being traded just never seemed quite real.

Howard Beck, who is a senior NBA writer for Bleacher Report, tweeted out to disregard all trade rumors regarding Porzingis.

Is it shocking they are talking calls? No, why not at least hear what other teams would offer? But if the Knicks were going to trade Porzingis, they would ask for a lot.

The only way Jackson or the Knicks would trade the future centerpiece of the organization is if they completely robbed a team. The offer would have to be just way too good to pass up.

So if you are someone that was freaking out at the thought of the Knicks moving on from Porzingis … it is not going to happen he will remain a Knick.

Right now with the draft being as loaded as it is, trade rumors are going to be buzzing. Big names such as Paul George and Jimmy Butler have also been in trade rumors.

Trading certainly will happen, I believe, come Thursday night. And I do believe that guys like George and Butler have a better chance of being traded than Porzingis.
