New York Knicks‘ Derrick Rose and his agent have maintained all season that the former MVP’s preference is a return to the Big Apple.

Derrick Rose‘s agent is talking again, and he’s saying more of the same. His client wants to come back to the New York Knicks.

B.J. Armstrong told Yaron Weitzman of Bleacher Report that returning to the Big Apple is still Rose’s preference.

“Derrick loves New York and wants to be there,” Rose’s agent, B.J. Armstrong, told Bleacher Report recently. “We’ve expressed that to them and been very consistent about it. Whether it happens is on them; all we can do is be clear.”

Phil Jackson had high praise for Rose. The highlight of Jackson’s infamous press conference was when he said Carmelo Anthony would be “better off somewhere else,” so people forgot what the former coach said about Rose.

The Zen Master stated that Rose “expressed the fact that he wants to be back” before saying he liked the former MVP’s attitude, calling him a “warrior.”

Jackson may not have any respect for Anthony, but the team president made it sound like Rose will be a top priority come this summer.
