Both the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks are reportedly bringing in Nevada big man Cameron Oliver for a pre-draft workout.

Nevada’s Cameron Oliver is one of the most intriguing second-round prospects in the 2017 NBA Draft. He can shoot threes and was an excellent rebounder at the college level, and both New York City teams have taken notice.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, the 6-foot-8 power forward has workouts scheduled this week with both the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks.

Via Begley:

Oliver, widely projected as a second-round pick, has an intriguing game and frame. He is 6-8 with a 7-1 wingspan and a near 40-inch vertical — and he’s flashed an ability to knock down perimeter shots at the college level. Oliver averaged 16 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game last season at Nevada and has worked out for several teams ahead of the draft.

The Knicks own two picks in the second round (44, 58) while the Nets own just one (No. 57.)

Oliver should be available to the Knicks at 44 but is unlikely to be available as late as 57 or 58. DraftExpress has him projected to go No. 50 overall to the Philadelphia 76ers.
