New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo tries to become Pat Riley with new hairdo.

Odell Beckham Jr. made headlines on Tuesday by actually showing up to New York Giants minicamp after not showing up for the OTAs. However Beckham wasn’t the only one making headlines, head coach Ben McAdoo was also making headlines.

McAdoo has a new hairdo. The new look is tight on the sides and slicked back down the middle, and has been described as Pat Riley-esque, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN. So is McAdoo really Pat Riley or is he just trying to look like Riley? Will the real Ben McAdoo and the real Pat Riley please stand up?

“Got to keep you all on your toes,” he said. “They’ve been pushing me. Got to keep it fresh, right?”

Giants quarterback Eli Manning denied that the players had been pushing the coach.

“No, never,” he said. Can’t get on the head coach ever, right? I thought it looked outstanding. You’ve got to keep it fresh, yes. I thought he must have media today.”

This isn’t the first time that McAdoo’s hair has made headlines. Last year New Jersey governor Chris Christie asked, “Do you think Ben McAdoo will get a real haircut if they make the playoffs?’’ The head coach then showed up at the Giants facility wearing a T-shirt with a picture of himself with the words  “Benny with the good hair’’, according to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post. The words on the shirt are a play on the lyrics “Becky with the good hair” from Beyoncé’s song Sorry.

The most important question for the Giants now isn’t how they’ll do this year, it’s what will McAdoo’s next hairdo look like.
