Despite the 3-2 loss on Friday night, all hope isn’t lost for the 2017 New York Mets. Yoenis Cespedes, Steven Matz and more are coming.

It doesn’t matter that the New York Mets lost on a walk-off to the Atlanta Braves on Friday night, moving their awful record to 25-33.
Well, actually it does matter, but it should put the final nail in the coffin. There still is, indeed, hope, especially in the form of the organization’s most important player.
On Saturday, Yoenis Cespedes will be making his long-awaited return from the shelf. In addition, both Steven Matz and Seth Lugo will be returning this weekend. Matz will pitch one of the doubleheader games on Saturday while Lugo will take his first turn of the season on Sunday in Atlanta.
