With the New York Yankees taking care of business in Toronto, everything you need to know about your team is right here.

As the New York Yankees trounced the Toronto Blue Jays last night, you couldn’t help but wonder what the Yankees are going to do with Jacoby Ellsbury now that he’s back from the 7-day disabled list.

According to an interview done by YES Network’s Meredith Marakovits, Joe Girardi said he plans to go with a four-man outfield platoon that would include Ellsbury, Aaron Hicks, Brett Gardner and Aaron Judge.

But with Brett Gardner’s sizzling statistical line of .278/.364/.528 with 11 home runs and 25 RBI, Aaron Judge’s irremovable stat line of .326/.427/.680 with his MLB-leading 17 deep balls and 38 RBI and the absolutely remarkable play of Aaron Hicks and his .317/.437/.579 line with his eight big flies and 30 RBI( including a career-high six last night), where does Ellsbury fit in?

The knee-jerk reaction would be to leave everything as is, as it clearly seems to be working. If Ellsbury hopes to reclaim his starting job in center field, he had better hope that his season slash line of .281/.349/.422 and his four homers and 14 RBI start to take more of a shape similar to the other three offensive machines.

On the farm last night, third baseman Miguel Andujar had himself a big night as he continues to impress the Yankees brass from Double-A Trenton.

According to Matt Kardos, Andujar went 2-4 with a home run and three RBI. Those three RBI brought his season total up to 41, which is now good enough for the top spot in all of the Eastern League.

I know Gleyber Torres has been tearing it up in the minors, also playing third base in conjunction with his normal position of shortstop. But, if this kind of production continues, Andujar will certainly make it really tough to ignore him and, at worst, looks like an unbelievably powerful chip to throw in a deal for some starting pitching help at the trade deadline.

Finally, from the “Holy Distance” department, Aaron Judge hits the ball far; I mean REALLY far.

According to a tweet posted by ESPN’s Sportscenter account, Judge blasted a ball 510 feet during yesterday’s batting practice.

With how popular the 6’7″ right fielder is becoming, especially in terms of All-Star votes, someone needs to sit me down and explain to me exactly why Giancarlo Stanton has yet to contact Judge about participating in the much-anticipated 2017 Home Run Derby in Marlin’s Park during July’s All-Star break.

Hey Giancarlo… Get over yourself.
