In this morning’s edition of the New York Yankees Bomber Buzz, we look at some of the positives going on in the Bronx.

Good morning, Yankee nation! Are you still reeling over the home run party the New York Yankees participated in yesterday?

Luis Severino may have only thrown 6.1 innings yesterday but he did so in dominant fashion. Allowing only one run and striking out eight, he silenced all the critics who claim he is destined for the bullpen.

However, before last night’s contest, Severino received high praise from an opponent in regards to his talent on the mound.

The 31-year-old slugger from the Kansas City Royals faced Severino firsthand last week, going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts. Lorenzo Cain is a pretty big name to be throwing around compliments and Severino deserves every one of them.

In an injury update, Didi Gregorius was struck with a pitch last night by former Yankees reliever Richard Bleier. After the game, X-Rays came back negative.

However, in classic Sir Didi fashion, he has no worries about missing any time.

Even though this is the Bomber Buzz, we’re going to end with some news from the Baltimore Orioles’ side of the game.

We all know the #BaldBrothers hit four home runs last night. Brett Gardner crushed two solo shots, as did Matt Holliday in their friendly competition.

However, all four home runs were caught by a group of friends.

What? Why? HOW? That has to be almost impossible! And yet, Camden Yards made it happen.

Last game of the series begins tonight at 7:05 PM in Camden Yards. Let’s get the W and take the series before heading to Toronto.
