The New York Knicks brought in former Kentucky point guard Isaiah Briscoe for a workout along with five other prospects.

The New York Knicks continue to work out potential second-round prospects. The team has the No. 44 and No. 58 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. Their most recent workout was centered on older veterans.

According to ESPN New York’s Ian Begley, the Knicks had five players scheduled to workout. The youngest player was 21-years-old.

That guy was former Kentucky point guard Isaiah Briscoe. The former five-star recruit wasn’t much of a shooter (22.9 percent in two seasons) but made a living with the Wildcats attacking the rim.

DraftExpress has Briscoe ranked No. 80 in their top 100 prospects. He’s projected to go undrafted in most drafts. New York thrived in the UFA market last year with Ron Baker.

Per Adam Zagoria, Briscoe’s workout went “very well.” Remember his name.

Former South Carolina guard Sindarius Thornwell is the reigning SEC Player of the Year. He averaged 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on a slash line of .445/.395/.830.

He had a breakout season and now he’s projected as a late second-round pick by DraftExpress. The Knicks could pick him up with the 58th pick.

New York also worked out ex-Duke big man Amile Jefferson. The fifth-year senior won a National Championship with the Blue Devils and finished fourth in ACC history in games played (150).

Jefferson, 24, could get the type of look that his former Duke teammate Marshall Plumlee got last summer. That was an audition in the summer league that turned into a healthy roster spot throughout the year.

The Knicks also worked out former Columbia forward Luke Petrasek, ex-Florida guard Canyon Barry, and former Colorado guard Derrick White.

Petrasek’s grandfather, Connie Simmons, played five seasons for the Knicks. Barry is the son of NBA legend Ricky Barry. Per Begley, it was unclear if White actually worked out for the team.
