Finally, Tyler Austin‘s foot seems to be recovering nicely as he continues to rehab at AA Trenton. Matt Kardos of Pinstriped Prospects reports that the foot looks fine, as the first baseman had two triples and an 11-pitch at-bat that resulted in a single in last night’s contest.
If Chris Carter wants to stay in the Bronx, he had better hope that last night’s long ball is a sign of things to come because Austin is right around the corner and ready to make his mark on 2017.
