With the New York Yankees in the midst of a six-game winning streak, here’s the news and notes you need to know.

In Tuesday, May 9, 2017’s edition of New York Yankees Bronx Bomber Buzz, we take a look at how Clint Frazier has been tearing up Triple-A as well as some roster moves that were made.

First off, we take a look at how Yankees top prospect Clint Frazier was named to MLB Pipeline’s team of the week due to his dominant showing of late in Triple-A.

In his last five games, Frazier is slashing .471/.560/.882 with four doubles, a home run and six RBI’s. He has been crushing the ball as of late after starting out the season slow.

The right-hander is currently ranked by MLB Pipeline as the Yankees number two top prospect and could arrive in the big leagues as early as this season.

If Frazier keeps performing at this level in Scranton, he will leave the Yankees with no choice but to call him up despite all of their big league outfielders currently producing at a high level.

Next up, the New York Yankees made some under-the-radar roster moves on Monday in response to their grueling 18 inning victory in Chicago on Sunday night.

Utility man Rob Refsnyder was sent back down to Triple-A in order to make space on the roster for Chad Green, who will be used as a fresh arm out of the bullpen.

Catcher Wilkin Castillo was also moved from Scranton to Trenton in response to Kyle Higashioka arriving back in Triple-A after his short-lived stint in the big leagues.

That is all the top news regarding the New York Yankees today. Don’t forget the Yankees will be looking for their seventh straight win against the Reds tonight at 7:10 PM ET on FS1.
