With the rest of the NBA distracted with the playoffs, the New York Knicks time of distress rolls on. Kobe Bryant speaks on Phil JacksonCarmelo Anthony.

While the rest of the NBA is locked into the 2017 NBA Playoffs, fans of the lowly New York Knicks kick the dirt in frustration. There isn’t much going on, at least until the NBA Draft discussion starts to heat up a bit more.

One bit of news concerning the Knickerbockers surrounds Kobe Bryant. Yes, the Mamba. Kobe, who, obviously, has a relationship with Knicks president Phil Jackson, weighed in on the Zen Master’s feud with Carmelo Anthony.  via Marc Berman of the New York Post.

“Not from what I’ve been through with Phil,’’ Bryant said, in response to if the feud has gone too far. “Michael had his rough times with him as well. The history is you get through rough times after you win a good amount of championships. We certainly had our rocky times, but we still stuck to it, we figured out our way through it and came out better because of it. I think the most important thing is sticking to it, being patient. Sometimes things work out. Sometimes they don’t.”
