New York Yankees designated hitter Matt Holliday sent the New York fans home happy on Friday night with a three-run walk-off bomb.

These New York Yankees never say die, after trailing the Orioles 9-1 they came all the back to defeat Baltimore 14-11 thanks to some clutch offensive work.

Designated hitter Matt Holliday decided he would be the one to end it all on Friday by launching a three-run bomb in the bottom of the tenth to pull off a monumental comeback.

The veteran right-hander took the first pitch he saw from left-hander Jayson Aquino and hit it with authority leaving Adam Jones with no choice but to watch it fly.

Holliday was then greeted by quite the celebration at home plate by his teammates as well as a highly refreshing Gatorade bath while he was mauled by his fellow sluggers.

This was the first time the Yankees came back from a deficit of eight or more runs since 2012 when they came back after trailing 9-0 against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

An exciting win like this could bring New York a ton of momentum that they will attempt to carry on into their future games within the next few days aginst their division rivals.
