More emails have being produced to show that Eli Manning wasn’t involved in New York Giants memorabilia scheme.

Lawyers for New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning have filed more emails to defend Manning in the memorabilia lawsuit against him and the Giants.

Manning’s lawyers filed papers in court last week that had emails between the quarterback and team equipment manager Joe Skiba that suggest that Manning wasn’t involved in the memorabilia scheme.

“Did you put my helmet somewhere? “the Giants quarterback emailed Skiba in 2012, according to Darren Rovell and Jordan Raanan of ESPN. It was not in my locker. If you could hold on to it and my spare one as well, that would be great.”

The emails that were filed also show communication between Skiba and Manning to secure his game-used memorabilia in 2011 and 2013. The emails were produced after the plaintiffs filed a motion in court that included email between Manning and Skiba in 2010 where the quarterback asks Skiba if he could provide two helmets that could pass as game-used.

The Giants quarterback has denied the allegations and said that he has done nothing wrong.

“The Manning defendants produced all of their documents concerning Mr. Manning’s equipment that he provided to Steiner Sports for the simple reason that they have nothing to hide and vehemently deny that they ever provided Steiner Sports with equipment they did not believe was game-used,” Manning’s attorneys wrote in the filing.

The attorneys also said that the plaintiffs have no evidence of what was produced after the emails were sent and have no direct knowledge of Manning producing something that was fake. The plaintiffs say that the defendant haven’t provided any evidence that what was being sold to Steiner Sports was real.

While it may be hard to believe Manning wasn’t involved, it is getting harder to tell who is telling the truth. Let’s hope that the truth comes out soon.
