Just when New York Mets fans thought the laundry list of injuries couldn’t get worse, well, apparently, it can, as Noah Syndergaard falls.

The hits just keep on coming for the 2017 New York Mets.

Add ace Noah Syndergaard to the lengthy list of his teammates that have already been injured, not even a full month into the season.

This morning, it was announced that Thor will miss his start this afternoon due to discomfort in his right bicep. The hope is that Syndergaard will only miss one start.

Syndy believes this is simply a minor injury, making his scratch today just precautionary. He has an MRI scheduled for this afternoon.

After rain postponed Tuesday’s ballgame between the Metropolitans and Atlanta Braves, it was announced that Syndergaard would take the ball on Wednesday night.

Yet, manager Terry Collins quickly backtracked on that statement, saying Robert Gsellman would still be in line to start. TC, at the time, really gave no explanation as to why, sending an inevitable ruffle through Panic Citi.

The Dark Knight, Matt Harvey, will start this afternoon in the series finale against the Braves as the Mets try to right the ship.
