Carmelo Anthony didn’t take long to hit back on Instagram over the controversial comments from Phil Jackson’s press conference.

Phil Jackson did his best to humiliate Carmelo Anthony during his 49-minute press conference on Friday, but the superstar scorer was quick return fire with an Instagram post.

Anthony’s post is of Leonardo DiCaprio from the Great Gatsby, but it’s the comment that’s telling.

REALLY ?? #StayMe7o

The ten-time All-Star writes “REALLY” before using two “crying laughing” emojis and then his trademark hashtag of StayMe7o.

It didn’t stop there. Other players were “liking” Anthony’s post. First, it was Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade. Then Kristaps Porzingis joined in on the fun.

This is a bad look for Phil Jackson. Players love Carmelo Anthony and don’t like that he was disrespected in a public setting. Porzingis having his back means that his teammates don’t like it either.

We know that the Zen Master won’t apologize because he thinks he was right, so good luck getting a free agent in New York this summer.
