Through just three innings at Citi Field, New York Mets starting pitcher Matt Harvey “looks” like the 2013 version fans fell in love with.

Listen, it’s just a few innings. We know a few innings make no difference in the world when it comes to Major League Baseball and its grueling number of 162.

Still, Matt Harvey looks the part.

Through three innings in his 2017 season debut against the Atlanta Braves at a rainy Citi Field, Harvey’s pitched brilliantly in allowing just one hit and no runs while striking out one.

His fastball has movement and his breaking balls are sharp.

More interestingly, the Dark Knight “looks” the part.

Take a look at some of the photos from tonight’s game up to this point. He’s clean-shaven, trim and proper and bursting at the seams with energy. He simply looks like the 2013 version all New York Mets fans fell in love with:

While he’s always been in terrific shape, it’s evident that he’s not carrying around that extra weight he loafed around with the last three seasons.

It’s early, no doubt. But the look of Matt Harvey is something of note.
