New York has not won back to back games since December 23. The Knicks clinched their fourth straight season of not making the playoffs. Miami was too much for the Knicks. New York couldn’t get anything going on offense. Carmelo Anthony held scoreless in the first half for the first time this season and since 2012. He ended the game off with nine points on 4-of-12 shooting.

Goran Dragic perfected the pick N roll tonight. He operated the offense flawlessly. Dragic was slicing and dicing the defense. He flirted with a triple-double today, he had 20 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.

A plus you can take away from this game is that Willy Hernangomez played great defense. Hernangomez was matched up with one of best centers in the game. The rookie held Hassan Whiteside to 11 points and nine rebounds. Hernangomez has had his struggles on defense as of lately, but tonight was one of his best efforts.

This loss was good for the tank. The Knicks currently have the fourth-worst record in the NBA.
