Were they robbed? Let’s take a look at the suspects:

Boy Green had a nice piece talking about the Jets choosing to spend their money on multiple players in lieu of just one big fish. This article stemmed from a nice piece by Rich Cimini of ESPN.
It hasn’t been all dandelions and butterflies so far this offseason for the Jets. Heck, just at the NFL Owner’s Meetings this week, head coach Todd Bowles made some eyebrow-raising comments on discipline.
“You’re going to always have tardiness with players. It’s part of it,” he said via NewYorkJets.com while attending the owners’ meetings on Tuesday. “Sometimes you’re late to work. It’s life. It’s not life threatening. Those guys, after that, were sharp, and they were fine, and we didn’t have a problem with them after that. Sometimes your alarm clock isn’t going to go off.”
For a coach that dealt with multiple issues last season (Muhammad Wilkerson and Sheldon Richardson being at the front of them), that seemed to be an odd way to answer a question that he had a chance to lay down the letter of the law.

While he didn’t say everything exactly the way he should’ve, he did say something I liked: competition.
We reported yesterday during our “New York Jets Gang Green Morning 3/29 edition” that there would be a QB competition. But Bowles also talked about being more involved with the offense at the Coaches’ Breakfast.
Team Reporter, Eric Allen, got a chance to talk with Sean Payton and ask him about new offensive coordinator John Morton. Payton gave a rave review for his former wide receiver coach.
