According to Marc Berman of The New York Post, the New York Knicks are considering Kansas Jayhawks wingman Josh Jackson for the draft.
As the New York Knicks disappointing season comes to an end in two weeks, New York has had their eyes on some draft prospects.
New York is expected to draft a point guard with their lottery pick, but according to The New York Post’s Marc Berman, they will consider small forward Josh Jackson from Kansas. Jackson is known for his defense and passing, one asset, in particular, the Knicks like is his on-ball defense.
Berman believes that if the Knicks try to resign Derrick Rose and find a way to trade Carmelo Anthony than they will pursue Josh Jackson in the draft. Jackson isn’t an elite shooter or a shot maker. However, he did average 16.4 Points, 7.4 Rebounds and shooting 51.5 percent per game.
Per Berman, the Knicks identified him as a great piece of the triangle offense. One of the reasons why Jackson will fit the triangle is that he has the ability to pass the ball, unlike Carmelo Anthony. The future NBA first round pick averaged three assists per game and college scouts say he will average more in the NBA.

In those four games, Jackson averaged 16 points 8.5 Rebounds. The best game he had in the draft is in the round of 32 against Michigan State.
Jackson scored 23 points on 50 percent shooting; he grabbed three rebounds. As in doing it all around, in the elite eight, Jackson scored 10 points, 12 rebounds and showed his passing ability by dishing out five assists.
Over the course of the season, you will see that Jackson game can expound. He has a various amount of games where he had a double-double and flirted with a couple of triple doubles.
