Brooklyn Nets Unveil The Notorious B.I.G. Banner at the Barclays Center (Video)

Not only did the Brooklyn Nets knock off the New York Knicks Sunday night at the Barclays Center, they unveiled The Notorious B.I.G. banner.

He was born in 1972. He died in 1997. He now has a banner hanging from the rafters of the Barclays Center remembering his life and times in 2017.

At halftime of the Brooklyn Nets 120-112 victory over the New York Knicks on Sunday, the Barclays Center remembered The Notorious B.I.G. with a banner that’ll hang from the rafters forever more (photo above).

This week marked the 20th anniversary of the passing of Biggie, who was slain in Los Angeles.

Ice Cube sat courtside during the game and even Biggie’s mom Voletta Wallace and Lil’ Kim were on hand.

And, of course, Charles Oakley, the man who once poured his heart out for the Knickerbockers, was a courtside guest:
