New York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose told The New York Post that he has another free agency destination in mind.

New York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose likes being close to home. Milwaukee is only an hour and 30 minutes away from where Rose’s hometown of Chicago.

After Wednesday’s game, Rose told Marc Berman of The New York Post that he would consider Milwaukee as a free agent destination.

“Of course this is like home, rose told the post. “Only a hour and 30 minutes away. Easy for family to come.”

The former MVP believes that he can win in Milwaukee.

“This isn’t the worse area for me but I just want to win,” Rose said.

When Rose was in high school Jason Kidd was doing unbelievable things for the New Jersey Nets, Kidd was one of the best playmakers to come from his era.

“I watched him even in college, My family is a basketball family. We’re all basketball head.”

The Bucks are in need of a starting point guard. They currently have Giannis Antetokounmpo facilitating the offense.

Derrick Rose showcased his talents on Wednesday in Milwaukee. Rose scored 26 points on 13 of 16 from the field with 6 assists against the Bucks.
