When it was announced that Seth Rollins might miss Wrestlemania again, he and fans were devastated. Tonight on Raw, however, Rollins returns to make a big announcement.

Seth Rollins had just resumed his feud with Triple H. Since The Game cost him the Universal Championship on August 29th, 2016, Rollins was somewhat silent about the issue. Then on January 23rd, HHH cost Rollins his spot in the Royal Rumble.

One week later, when it appeared things were about to come to a head between the two on the January 30th edition of Raw, Samoa Joe attacked Rollins. The end result saw Rollins had re-injure his surgically repaired knee. The timing could not have been worse for everyone involved.

The site of Rollins leaving Raw on crutches broke the hearts of fans. It was the worst case possible for WWE, already having Finn Balor on the shelf as well. Rollins missed last year’s Wrestlemania and cashed in the Money in the Bank contract to win the WWE Championship the year prior. The long laid out plans for The Game vs The Architect never materialized. However, it turns out that Rollins injury is not as bad as it first seemed. And we might hear it from the man himself this Monday.

Now just because Rollins is going to announce his return date doesn’t mean he needs to appear on TV until Wrestlemania. The smart thing would be to keep rehabbing the knee and make sure it’s 100 percent. But that being said, HHH still has the Destroyer, Samoa Joe, on his side. Rollins would be heading into the match alone, with no back up. Regardless of what happens, HHH wants to have a match at Wrestlemania 33.

If Rollins isn’t cleared to compete though, WWE could have one hell of a back-up match planned, which would see another superstar return from injury.
