The New York Giants have made the move to re-sign long snapper Zak DeOssie.

Long snapper and special teams captain Zak DeOssie has re-signed with the New York Giants on a two-year deal.

The two-time Pro Bowler has spent his entire 10-year career with New York. That makes DeOssie the second longest tenured Giant, with quarterback Eli Manning as the only topper. DeOssie has earned two Super Bowl rings with the team, making him and Manning the only two Giants remaining on the team’s roster who were a member of both championship squads.

DeOssie has missed just four games in his career, all of which came in 2015 when he was sidelined with a wrist injury.

A fourth-round pick back in 2007, DeOssie notched seven solo special teams tackles last season with one assisted. His re-signing makes him the only long snapper the Giants have on their roster.

Official figures of DeOssie’s new contract have not yet been released.
