According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Brooklyn Nets have traded Bojan Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough to the Wizards.

On Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported that the Brooklyn Nets were ‘moving closer’ towards accepting a trade for swingman Bojan Bogdanovic. A day later, the deed was done.

The Nets have traded Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough to the Washington Wizards for Andrew Nicholson, Marcus Thorton, and a first-round pick.

After unloading Bogdanovic, a pending RFA, the Nets have two firsts in the upcoming draft. Neither pick will be great (both Boston and Washington will be in the playoffs) but getting two players out of this loaded draft class is a huge win for Brooklyn.

McCullough wasn’t working out. He spent more time in the D-league during his two seasons with the organization. It was time to move on from him. Brooklyn found Caris LeVert with the 20th pick last year and he looks like a keeper. They’re hoping lightning strikes at the bottom of the draft twice in a row.
