New York Yankees’ minor leagues pitchers Ronald Herrera and James Reeves will both miss extended time due to arm injuries.

According to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com, two New York Yankees‘ pitchers will miss some time due to arm injuries. Right-hander Ronald Herrera (shoulder inflammation) will miss two weeks and left-hander James Reeves (elbow sprain) will be out for four weeks.

Herrera, 21, was added to the 40-man roster back in November coming off a year in which he maintained a 3.94 ERA across 24 starts between Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Herrera spent most of the year in Trenton, where he posted a 3.75 ERA 23 starts. Prior to his promotion to Triple-A, the righty went 4-1 and sported a 2.80 ERA across nine starts and struck out 42 batters in 54.2 innings.

Assuming this injury is nothing extraordinary, Herrera should be back in the Electric City — where he pitched in just five innings — to start the 2017 season.

Reeves, 23, was selected by New York in the tenth round of the 2015 June Amateur Draft and reported to Tampa this spring as a non-roster invitee. He spent 2016 climbing from Single-A Charleston to Double-A Trenton and registered a 6-2 record and a 2.22 ERA in 32 games (12 starts).

Batters slashed .175/.257/.269 off Reeves a year ago and the lefty maintained a 2.17 ERA as a starter compared to 2.29 as a reliever.
