New York Knicks youngster Kristaps Porzingis rudely greets Steven Adams at the rim with this beautiful Statue of Liberty block.

Latvians may not be the biggest fans of people from New Zealand. Or, at least KP isn’t a huge fan. Who knew?

On Wednesday night, Kristaps Porzingis met Steven Adams at the rim. There was only one clear winner. He plays for the Knicks.

Adams looked to have had an open dunk but Porzingis flew in from the baseline. Porzingis’s wingspan allowed him to reach well over Adams for an absolutely emphatic rejection early on against the Thunder.

Porzingis has quickly garnered a reputation as one of the top rim defenders in the NBA. He currently ranks sixth in blocks per game, behind Rudy Gobert, Anthony Davis, Myles Turner, Hassan Whiteside and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Porzingis and Anthony have the Knicks up big currently in the first quarter, in an important game for New York’s playoff hopes.
