New York Mets: Matt Harvey arrives for spring training (Photo)

New York Mets starting pitcher Matt Harvey has arrived to spring training camp in Port St Lucie to get some work in and get ready for a healthy 2017.

New York Mets once ace Matt Harvey has made his way back from thoracic outlet syndrome and has arrived to spring training camp with aspirations of a healthy 2017 campaign.

At this point, it is highly uncertain for the New York Mets for they should expect from the “Dark Knight” following such a serious injury, much like David Wright‘s case.

Before hitting the disabled list in 2016, Harvey was a shell of his former self. In 17 starts, the right-hander went 4-10 with a 4.86 ERA, leaving him to be the weakest link in what was a dominant Mets rotation.

This is not the first time Harvey had to rehab a major injury, he missed all of the 2014 season due to Tommy John surgery and returned in 2015 to his ace-like form.

Only time will tell how Harvey is able to recover from yet another setback and potentially return to his ace form for the Metropolitans.
