This New York Islanders fan adorably asked her boyfriend to prom with a creative banner featuring her favorite hockey team.
She’s got game.
The daughter of Twitter user @crosscheck26 asked her boyfriend to prom with a banner that read “Prom season is upon us and I real[Lee] need a date. I hope you’re [Leddy] to be my [Prince]. Make me g[Ladd] and come to prom with me.”
This isn’t the first time this happened in the Big Apple — Chris Cafiero hung a similar sign with several names of Rangers players last year. Cafiero admitted that his inspiration came from an adorable Blackhawks fan proposal; “I wanted to incorporate hockey in some way, so I looked up ‘hockey prom proposals on the internet,” he said.
It’s awesome to see what the newer generation of Isles fans has in store.
