In reaction to New York Knicks’ legend Charles Oakley’s lifetime ban from MSG, actor Michael Rapaport sounded off on the organization.
Actor Michael Rapaport just echoed every New York Knicks‘ fans sentiments the moment they found out that Charles Oakley had been issued a lifetime ban from Madison Square Garden on Friday.
Rapaport, a frequent contributor to Colin Cowherd’s Fox Sports 1 show and host of his own podcast, has made no quips about his Knickerbocker fandom. That all may have changed today.

In an appearance on The Michael Kay Show this afternoon, Knicks owner James Dolan confirmed the ban of Oakley from the Mecca.
Dolan went on to explain that the “abusive” and “disrespectful” behavior that Oakley demonstrated during the nationally televised Wednesday night game against the Los Angeles Clippers would not be acceptable for anyone.
Dolan also said that Oakley had an “agenda” on his mind, the moment he walked through those hallowed doors. Additionally, he dismissed Oakley’s side of the story, calling it “unbelievable.”
It will be interesting to see if the ban last the test of time or if the public outcry to “set Oakley free” is too much to bear for the critical owner.
One thing is for sure, today may have been the day the New York Knicks committed PR suicide.
