While it isn’t the final nail in the coffin of the New York Jets 2016 season, it’s certainly a rough one leading up to the final nail coming in Week 17.

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots smacked around Todd Bowles‘s Jets by the final of 41-3.

Brady, as per usual, was splendid. He threw three touchdowns and 214 yards on 17-of-27 passing. James White, Martellus Bennett and Matt Lengel caught those scores.

The Jets were quickly without starter Bryce Petty when he left the game due to the Baylor product having to leave the game due to injury after he hurt himself trying to tackle a Pat.

He did not return.

There were no bright spots for the Jets. Even Bilal Powell, who’s been running well, could only muster 60 yards on 15 carries.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, who entered the game for Petty, threw two more interceptions. Petty also threw one himself.

Now sitting at 4-11, the Jets will wrap up the season at home against the Buffalo Bills next week.
