The lone regulation goal-scorer for New York came in the form of Rick Nash, a man who has now tallied goals in back-to-back games after returning from a groin injury. His goal came at the 7:47 mark of the first period, providing New York with the 1-0 lead.

For the Preds, Mike Fisher scored his ninth goal of the season in the second period, coming unassisted.

Lundqvist picked up the victory as he stopped 31 of the 32 shots he faced on the night. Juuse Saros stopped 26-of-27 on his end of the ice.
