Kyle O’Quinn and the New York Knicks welcome in DeMarcus Cousins and the Sacramento Kings for a Sunday night MSG affair.

OK. Knicks, we know you hear us. It’s that very special time again, the time for which you guys are looking to move away from the all-important .500 mark in the NBA.
A season ago, Derek Fisher and his version of the New York Knicks hovered around the magic mark for so much of the first two months. They simply couldn’t pull away, and then, things fell apart.
Now, with shiny new toys like Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, and Brandon Jennings, Jeff Hornacek must get the job done and pull away. It starts tonight at The Garden when DeMarcus Cousins and the Sacramento Kings pay the Knickerbockers a visit.
New York is coming off an emotion-filled 118-114 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves this past Friday. Kyle O’Quinn played the role of star of the night, bounding hard and screaming like his basketball life depended on it. His 20 points and 13 rebounds led the way.
In fact, the Knicks are 4-0 when O’Quinn receives the nod in the starting lineup in favor of the oft-injured Noah. Hornacek was, obviously, non-committal when discussing a possible Noah-less future starting lineup, via AP.
“We’ll see when that happens,” Hornacek said. “Right now we’re just happy. We just won a game.”
Sacramento comes into the game on a bit of a down note. A disappointing 3-6 mark over its last nine games is direct evidence of that.
A man making his return to the Garden tonight will be Arron Afflalo, who signed with the Kings this past summer.
With a win, the Knicks will improve to 10-3 on the season at home. Opening tip-off comes your way at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be viewed on MSG Network.
