It’s time to cement your fantasy football playoff position as we break down who starts and who sits in week 11.

Chances are your fantasy football league’s playoff’s start much earlier than the NFL’s playoffs. So, it’s time to lock down your playoff position. Looking at last week’s column, you probably were competitive in your matchup if you adhered to our advice.

Steve Smith Sr., the Los Angeles Rams’ defense, Rishard Matthews, and Trevor Siemian were all productive while Allen Hurns posted a dud and Denver’s defense was a bit shaky.

It’s time for week 11. It’s time to make your playoff push. Let’s take a look at who starts and who sits next week.

Start ‘Em

Tyreek Hill, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Hill posted his second best game of the season on the road against a decent Carolina defense. His ten catch, 89-yard performance has led owners to believe he’s emerging in KC’s passing attack.

Two good games out of the past three merit FLEX consideration for week 11 against a Tampa Bay defense that ranks 22nd against the pass.

Sit ‘Em

Matt Asiata, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Adrian Peterson‘s back up(s) has not filled in the way the Vikings would have liked. Asiata has not rushed for than 55 yards in any game thus far, including an abysmal nine carry for 13-yard effort last week. Although he found the end zone, Asiata can’t be trusted for legitimate production.

Opposing a good Cardinals’ run defense next week (12th in the NFL), he’s best off on your bench.

Start ‘Em

Corey Coleman, WR, Cleveland Browns

After missing six weeks with an injury, Coleman has returned to action with little impact. However, his stock is actually in the green for week eleven.

The Browns aren’t likely to be leading against the high-powered Pittsburgh offense next week. However, that means the Browns will be throwing often to keep pace. Whether it’s in garbage time or not, fantasy points count the same. Coleman should see a decent share of targets against one of the league’s worst pass defenses (allowing 278.1 yards per game).

Sit ‘Em

Tavon Austin, WR, Los Angeles Rams

You want to talk about taking a gamble? Austin has played in nine games this season and posted productive results in just two of them. He’s totaled just three catches for 36 yards over the last two weeks and is far too mercurial to trust at a pivotal point this season.

Facing a Dolphins’ defense that ranks ninth against the pass, you’d be wise to find another FLEX option.

Start ‘Em

Chris Ivory, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

After enjoying a breakout game against Kansas City in which Ivory finally eclipsed the 100-yard mark, he struggled against a tough Texans defense. The Jaguars ground game hasn’t fared well all season, but Ivory’s worth a gamble in week 11 against a mediocre Lions’ defense.

Sit ‘Em

Zach Ertz, TE, Philadelphia Eagles

We liked Ertz last week, who proved useful in PPR leagues with six catches. Now, with 14 catches over the past two weeks, he’s beginning to develop chemistry with quarterback Carson Wentz. However, don’t ride the Ertz wave next week.

On the road against a tough Seattle defense which has allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season, you’re better off looking for another option.

Start ‘Em

Oakland Raiders Defense

Start a defense that’s allowing almost 400 total yards per game? Yes, that wasn’t a typo. The Oakland defense seems to finally be turning a corner. Having forced five turnovers over their last three games, Jack Del Rio‘s men are slowly coming together.

They’ll host a highly inconsistent Houston offense on Sunday night. Need a BYE week filler for Denver’s defense? You have it out in the ‘Black Hole.’

Sit ‘Em

Carolina Panthers Defense

The Panthers’ defense has perked up over the past three weeks, not having allowed more than 20 points to any team over that stretch. However, on a short week against a high-powered Saints offense, employing a different defense could prove to be a prudent decision.

Start ‘Em

Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Own Matt Ryan or Philip Rivers? You’ll need someone else to step in this week in their BYE week absence. If Blake Bortles is available in your league, he’s worth starting given the scenario.

He and the rest of the Jacksonville offense have been erratic in 2016, but squaring off against a Lions’ defense that has allowed the 22nd most total yards per game could leave room for Bortles to have a productive afternoon.

Sit ‘Em

Brock Osweiler, QB, Houston Texans

Having failed to pass for 200 yards in four of the past five weeks, Osweiler is far too inconsistent to trust this week. We mentioned owners of Matt Ryan and Philip Rivers will need replacements this week, but the Houston signal caller isn’t your best move.

Although he faces a Raider defense that ranks near the bottom of the league against the pass, look for another free agent quarterback this week.
