Andy Greene Wins Game for New Jersey Devils in Overtime (Highlights)

Captain Andy Greene capitalized on an overtime penalty shot to propel the New Jersey Devils to the 2-1 win against the Buffalo Sabres.

Things ended splendidly for the New Jersey Devils on Friday night. Playing the Buffalo Sabres in overtime, captain Andy Greene took advantage of a rare penalty shot in overtime.

The captain went five-hole after Evander Kane was forced to bring him down from behind on the breakaway.

Yohann Auvitu was the other goal scorer for the Devils. His first NHL goal, set up by Taylor Hall and Travis Zajac, tied the game up 3:13 into the third period.

Former Islander Matt Moulson was the lone scorer for the Sabres. He opened the scoring in this one midway through the first period.

Keith Kinkaid received the victory in stopping 25 of the 26 shots he faced.

Next up for New Jersey will be the backend of a home-and-home with the Sabres Saturday night at The Rock.
