Fresh of a BYE, injury-free Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants play host to the Philadelphia Eagles at MetLife Stadium.

Just one year after the NFC East was the worst division in football, it’s now boasting four top teams. One such team isn’t just good, it’s exciting.

With rookie No. 2 overall pick Carson Wentz at the helm, the Philadelphia Eagles are flying high to begin the new campaign. Starting the season a shocking 3-0, they’ve fallen a bit by losing three of their last four games.

Conversely, the New York Giants have won their last two. A solid 23-17 victory at home against the Baltimore Ravens and a rough 17-10 win in London against the Los Angeles Rams may have looked ugly, but it’s done the trick in getting their record back to over .500 (4-3).

This one, on Sunday, will be key in determining placement in the division over the last eight games of the season.

Injury Report

The bad news for Big Blue is both safety Darian Thompson and defensive end Kerry Wynn will miss the game. The phenomenal news comes by way of Odell Beckham Jr. now sporting a clean bill of health. He isn’t on the injury report despite calling himself 85-90 percent healthy earlier in the week.

Philly comes into the game relatively healthy. Offensive lineman Allen Barbre and linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill are both listed as out.

Keys for the Giants

Pressure Wentz:

It’s almost so sensical that it feels wrong in stating it, but Steve Spagnuolo must make sure his unit gets pressure on the Eagles young, impressive QB. While Wentz has looked impressive, he’s still a rookie.

Explode in the Passing Game:

How did the Giants recent mini two-game winning streak begin? Well, simply put, it came because OBJ find free space against the Ravens.

Philly ranks 31st in pass defense on the season. Even without the running game — something we all know the Giants don’t possess — Eli should have no issues finding his three stud wideouts. Whether it’s Beckham, Victor Cruz, or Sterling Shepard, explosive plays in the first half will be key to a New York victory.
