Two interceptions by safety Landon Collins led the way for the New York Giants in London as they knock off the Los Angeles Rams 17-10.

The fans at Twickenham Stadium in London weren’t treated to the best brand of NFL football on Sunday. This is a sentiment everybody can agree with.

Ben McAdoo and the New York Giants could care less. The G-Men picked up a hard-fought victory, defeating the Los Angeles Rams 17-10. Their record now stands at 4-3 as they head into the Week 8 BYE.

It was young Landon Collins who did London right today. His two interceptions — including one thrilling return en route to a pick-six — led the way in a very offensive game from both offenses.

In the 2nd-quarter, Collins capitalized on a terrible drop by Rams’ Tavon Austin. Suddenly, New York found itself in a tied 10-10 ballgame after doing very little offensively. This play will most definitely vie for the return of the year:

In the 3rd-quarter, Collins did it again in similar fashion. It was another Case Keenum force job to Austin that deflected up in the air and right to Landon:

It set up New York’s only offensive score of the game, a 1-year TD run by Rashad Jennings. Eli Manning picks up points for the smart audible:

Odell Beckham Jr. didn’t enjoy one of his more prolific days as Fisher and the Rams paid extra attention to No. 13. On that Jennings scoring drive, however, OBJ came up huge catching a corner route from Eli:

Beckham Jr. finished with five receptions for 49 yards.

Manning finished with 196 yards on 24-of-37 from the field. The Giants rushing game was, once again, horrid. Jennings went for just 25 yards on 13 carries while Paul Perkins and Bobby Rainey combined for 13 yards on five attempts.

It was Steve Spagnuolo’s defense who came to play today. Other than limiting Los Angeles to just 345 yards, they were forced to come up with a game-ending stop in the red-zone. As bad as Keenum was for most of the day (276 yards, one touchdown, four interceptions, 31-of-52), he came up clutch on the final drive with a few beauties.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie ended it with a gift of an interception thanks to miscommunication on the part of L.A.’s offense.

Game Notes:

The Giants finished with just 232 yards of total offense.

Like Collins, DRC also enjoyed a two-interception day. His first also came in the endzone:

Todd Gurley was unable to impact the game the Rams usually love to see happen. He could only pile up 57 yards on 15 carries.

Though he killed his team with a couple drops, Austin was the lone touchdown maker for the Rams:

Victor Cruz led the Giants in receiving with a mere 55 yards:

The Giants now move to 4-3 heading into their Week 8 BYE. Afterward, they’ll return home and welcome in the tough Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 6.
