Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, Tyler Eifert, and others must be asking what exactly constitutes a catch, after what was called a touchdown on Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate in the second quarter of Sunday’s game, that looked anything but that.

The rule states you have to complete the process of the catch, which means if you’re going to the ground in the process, you must remain possession. If so, how is that not a turnover?
That is a head scratcher.
