The New York Giants released veteran punter Steve Weatherford on Friday. Ending a four-year tenure with the team. Weatherford’s reaction to the news was as classy as they come.

You don’t have to be a fan of a certain team to appreciate class. Some people have it, and some people don’t. Former New York Giants punter, Steve Weatherford, once said he would play for free, if it meant suiting up for Big Blue.
During his tenure he helped capture a Lombardi Trophy, and wore Giants Blue with pride. His excitement and love for the game was clear from a mile away, and he loved sharing it with fans.
Undoubtedly, the easiest member on the team to connect with, and an outstanding contributor in the community.
With his time in New York now over, Weatherford took to social media to thank the organization and fans.
