Knicks: Latest Carmelo Anthony Game Featuring Devin Booker (Video)

The latest pickup game starring New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony featured Devin Booker and C.J. McCollum.

Another day, another Carmelo Anthony pickup game on Instagram. More specifically, the Instagram account of trainer Chris Brickley.

This edition contained a newcomer to the series, Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns. Booker made a name for himself this season when he became the sixth player to score 70 points in an NBA game.

Booker had a huge sophomore season. After averaging just 13.8 points as a rookie, he was a 20 point per game scorer as a sophomore (22.1). He led the lowly Suns in scoring, minutes, FGAs, and threes made.

Anthony was also joined by C.J. McCollum, Danny Green, ex-Knick J.R. Smith, and new Knick Luke Kornet. McCollum could still be attempting to recruit Anthony to the Portland Trail Blazers, Green was born and went to high school in New York City, Smith and Anthony are close friends, and Kornet is probably training with Brickley.

The ten-time All-Star is apparently continuing to buy time hanging out with his buddies while waiting for the Knicks to deal him. With the Kyrie Irving trade finally going down, Anthony is the only big name who remains on the block. The latest report suggests that talks between Houston and New York are dormant. It’s not looking good.
