The New York Islanders will host the NHL Centennial Fan Arena event in September as part of the NHL’s centennial celebration.

With the NHL celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, the New York Islanders will play host to the NHL Centennial Fan Arena — an event that’s part of the centennial celebration — in September.

The event will be held on September 16 and 17 at the Northwell Health Ice Center, which is the Islanders official practice facility, and NYCB Live, Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The event will have the Stanley Cup, a museum truck, a video truck, a Zamboni virtual experience, interactive games, and an obstacle course, according to Newsday. There will even be a huge merchandise sale.

Fans can also watch the Islanders practice as they prepare for the 2017-18 season at the Northwell Ice Center. The Islanders mascot Sparky will also be at the event. The museum truck will have interactive digital displays, original video content, historical memorabilia, while the video truck will have a giant video screen that will have team highlights, all-access programming and a pop-out stage for special appearances, according to NHL.com.

The Fan Arena event is free and open to the public. You can RVSP for the event at NHL.com/Fan Arena.
