Kristaps Porzingis on Shooting Competition with Dirk Nowitzki: ‘I Beat Him Pretty Badly’ (Video)

New York Knicks’ Kristaps Porzingis tells the world he beat Dirk Nowitzki in a shooting competition “pretty badly.” Then revealed the truth.

For Kristaps Porzingis, what he’s doing right now overseas is uber important. Sure, partaking in an NBA Africa Game and finishing off bad Kyle Lowry passes into remarkable highlights is fun, but taking the opportunity to soak in everything he can from Dirk Nowitzki means everything.

The NBA’s official Twitter account released a new video of the two international ballers as they explained their current relationship and what they’ve been doing this past week (video above).

In one breath, KP tells us that during a shooting competition with Dirk, he “beat him pretty badly.”

As fun as a headline as it makes, KP quickly bowed down to his senior and relented that the 2011 NBA Champion probably won more times than not between the two.

In any event, as a fan of the New York Knicks, KP hanging out with Dirk can only be considered a terrific occasion. And in addition, this laid-back, jokester attitude is exactly what we love to see.

H/T Twitter, @NBA
