New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis is the latest big name player to announce his NBA 2K rating on social media.

Finding out your rating in 2K is a big deal for NBA players in 2017. New York Knicks star big man Kristaps Porzingis isn’t any different.

The 22-year-old announced his rating of “86” via his Twitter account. Porzingis seemed happy with his rating saying “NY NY! #NBA2K18 has got me looking good this year #2KFirstLook.”

NBA 2K18 is now available for pre-order with the game to be released on Sept. 19.


The Knicks reportedly reached out to former Brooklyn Net Alan Anderson to gauge his interest in free agency.

Anderson’s agent told Stefan Bondy of The New York Daily News that the talks were “preliminary” and “Feeling out on both sides.”

Per Bondy, new general manager Scott Perry’s hiring prompted discussions with Anderson. While Perry was with the Sacramento Kings; they had discussions about bringing inAnderson.

The 34-year-old played last season for the Los Angeles Clippers and should be thrilled about a potential return to New York City. Brooklyn was the location of his best seasons in the NBA.

The Brooklyn Nets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Toronto Raptors also reached out to Anderson.
