Don’t tell us Yo also knows pitching, too. Meet New York Mets power righty, Yoenis Cespedes who’s breaking off curveballs in the bullpen.
This guy just doesn’t know when to stop.
New York Mets slugger Yoenis Cespedes knows a lot of things. Obviously, he knows hitting. He knows pennant race baseball (as displayed during the August of 2015). He knows gunning dudes out on the basepaths from deep left field.
As everybody knows, Yo also knows golf and cigarette smoking.
But did you know Yo also knows pitching?
Check out the video above. Prior to his team’s game against the Padres in San Deigo on Monday night, Cespedes took to the bullpen with Dan Warthen to showcase his power right arm (video above).
Not only dazzling with the four-seamer but mixing some power curves in there, it seems as though SNY’s Ron Darling was impressed.
In any event, as much as Yo might know pitching, let’s keep him in left field. He should be in right field, but that’s another story for a different day. (These aren’t the 70s or 80s anymore.)
As far as the game is concerned, the Mets currently lead the Padres 3-0 in the fifth inning. Wilmer Flores smacked a home run early on and Jacob deGrom continues to mow down the opposition.
