New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman cleared up all rumors on Thursday morning when it came to the availability of Dellin Betances.

New York Yankees general manager joined MLB Network Radio early Thursday morning to clarify where the availability of Dellin Betances stands in trade talks.

Cashman clarified on the show that Betances is not going to be traded and that he is going nowhere.

The rumors began as a result of some fans thinking that now the Yankees bullpen might be a little “too stacked” and Betances might be used as a trade chip to acquire a frontline starter.

Betances has been shaky at times throughout this season, but at the end of the day, he is still one of the best relief pitchers in all of baseball.

The right-hander is sporting a 2.87 ERA through 35 appearances along with a 16.9 K/9, the highest of his career to this point. He’s also a four-time All-Star forming a dominant back-end trio with David Robertson and Aroldis Chapman.

So. if Brian Cashman’s word means anything to you, don’t expect Dellin Betances to be traded anytime soon.
