Odell Beckham Jr. of the New York Giants received a favorable ranking when the best players in the NFL were ranked 1-100.

For the third year in a row, New York Giants superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was voted on to the Top 100 Players List by the players, coming in at No. 8 this time around.

He was the third highest ranked receiver on this list, only behind Julio Jones (3) of the Atlanta Falcons and Antonio Brown (4) of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Beckham joined four Giants on the Top 100, including Damon Harrison (96), Janoris Jenkins (54), and Landon Collins (28).

Just as OBJ’s receptions have gone up in each of his three seasons, so has his ranking on the Top 100 list. In 2015, he was voted number 32 and in 2016 he was voted number 10.

It will be only a matter of time before he cracks the top five, which could happen on next year’s list since OBJ could make more explosive plays this coming season. He’ll certainly have the foundation to do so, seeing more one on one coverages with teams having to eye on Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard and rookie Evan Engram.

Jason's first love was football while growing up in northern New Jersey. For the past three years, he has covered the New York Giants, as well as several boxing events along the East Coast.
