Look. It’s a bird. It’s a plane. Nope, it’s New York Mets prospect Tim Tebow’s bat as it goes flying through the air like a lethal weapon.

Nope. It’s not Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, but it sure it a lethal weapon.

Was that corny? Ah, yeah, it absolutely was.

But hey, this is Tim Tebow we’re talking about and he doesn’t curse, and as you can imagine, he probably breaks out a few corny jokes here and there. So, for that, we get a one-time pass.

Never would Timmy T. want to harm any human being, but check out his actions on Saturday night as his team, the Single-A Columbia Fireflies, hosted the Charleston Riverdogs:

Nobody was injured and Tebow went down on strikes swinging on the next pitch. The Fireflies went on to fall to the Riverdogs 3-0.
