A packed house of more than 20,000 fans on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend saw tribute to our country’s veterans. In partnership with Southern New Hampshire University, the New York Red Bulls presented Iraq War Veteran, Matthew Mellina native of New York with a trained service dog.

The New York Red Bulls showed further support as fans unfurled a gigantic field-sized flag during the singing of the national anthem. Also in attendance were many former and current military veterans.

On behalf of Elite Sports NY, thank you Matthew Mellina and all current and prior military service members for your sacrifice and commitment to our country.
