LaVar Ball disrespected Fox Sports 1’s Kristine Leahy and women everywhere by telling Leahy to stay in her lane.

Whatever you know about LaVar Ball you can add disrespectful and maybe sexist to that list.

Ball appeared on The Herd with Colin Cowherd to promote his Big Baller brand. Cowherd asked him how many of his son Lonzo’s signature shoes he had sold. He said that he’s sold a good amount and co-host Kristine Leahy asked him how many. He then told Leahy to “stay in her lane” and told Cowherd that he’s sold somewhere between 400 and 500 pairs of Lonzo’s signature shoe, according to Seth Walder of the New York Daily News.

“I don’t look over there because she scares me, I’m thinking assault right now,” Ball said. Leahy asked him what his problem with her is and he responded, “My problem is you are a hater,” and then imitated Leahy who has said that she would never wear a shirt that says Big Baller brand.

“I have a right to say what shirt I want to wear,” Leahy responded, saying that she felt that Ball was being disrespectful to her and women. Ball said that Big Baller Brand isn’t marketing toward women because it’s not a women’s company.

“I think in order to have a successful company, you’re going to have to have women who like your brand,” Leahy told Ball.

“Uh, yeah, if you have a women’s company. But, anyways, we’re talking about Big Baller Brand,” he replied.

Leahy wasn’t the only one that Ball was taking shots at. He even took shots at Jason Whitlock. “Going back to Whitlock, I don’t think he can comment on anything but snacks,” he said. Leahy asked, “So you disrespect women and people for their weight?” Ball responded by saying that he said nothing about weight. He did at one point say, “I never disrespect women. If you act like that, something’s coming to you.”

I guess Ball has a different definition of how to disrespect people than the rest of us because he was clearly disrespecting Leahy and women. Let’s hope that Ball stays in his lane and stops being disrespectful to women.
